TETFund Team Visits UEE for Visibility Inspection of Proposed ICT Experience Centre

Today, Tuesday, 10th March, a delegation from Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), Abuja, paid a visibility inspection visit to the University for the proposed establishment of an ICT Experience Centre aimed at enhancing digital learning and innovation within the institution.

The visit formed part of TETFund’s assessment process to evaluate the readiness of the University for the development of the centre, which is designed to provide both staff and students with improved and seamless access to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities.

During the visit, the Vice Chancellor, Patrick N. Asuquo, graciously welcomed the TETFund team to the University and commended the Fund for its unwavering commitment to the development of tertiary education in State and beyond. He expressed profound appreciation to TETFund for considering the institution for the establishment of the ICT Experience Centre.

Prof. Asuquo further assured the team of the University’s maximum cooperation and optimum support in ensuring the successful implementation of the project, noting that the facility will significantly enhance digital learning, research, and administrative efficiency within the University community.

The TETFund delegation also expressed readiness to fast track the establishment of the center and inspected the proposed site for the project.

When completed, the ICT Experience Centre is expected to serve as a modern digital hub that will support teaching, learning, research, and innovation while strengthening the University’s drive towards embracing technology in a rapidly evolving global academic environment.
