This monumental stride was made possible by the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Governor Bassey Edet Otu, who, on January 8, 2025, signed into law the Cross River State University of Education and Entrepreneurship Law, No. 10 of 2024. By this legislative act, the former Cross River State College of Education (CRSCOE), Akamkpa, was transitioned into the prestigious UEE—a new citadel of learning designed to shape minds and build futures.
