The Vice Chancellor of the University of Education and Entrepreneurship (UEE), Akamkpa, has reaffirmed his fervent commitment to ensuring that all students of the institution are fully equipped with the technological skills required to excel in today’s digital and globalized world.
Represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Assoc. Prof. Benedict Ugbong, the Vice Chancellor made this pledge during a courtesy visit by a delegation from MUST Company, Republic of Korea.
Assoc. Prof. Ugbong expressed the university’s readiness to partner with MUST Company in advancing students’ capacity through innovative ICT-driven training programmes. He emphasized that the collaboration reflects the institution’s resolve to integrate cutting-edge technology into its educational ecosystem—empowering students with advanced digital competencies needed to navigate the rapidly changing technological landscape.
He noted: “Through this initiative, MUST Company aims to empower students by equipping them with the digital tools necessary to thrive in an increasingly interconnected and technologically driven world.”
Earlier, the CEO of MUST Company, Mr. Juhun Cha, reaffirmed his organization’s full commitment to working with UEE to ensure students remain abreast of emerging 21st-century technological trends.
He highlighted that MUST Company is a leading player in the global digital revolution, reshaping the future of remote work and IT services through its Global-to-Global operational model. Their core areas of expertise, he explained, span bespoke web and mobile app development, strategic IT consulting, pioneering crypto projects, integrated marketing solutions, development of K-Health and Beauty (K-H&B) platforms, and operation of AI-driven media content studios, among others.
Mr. Cha was accompanied by Mr. Amani Kanu (Solutions Architect, MUST Company) and Grace Effiong (Frontend Developer, MUST Company).
The visit concluded with a guided tour of facilities designated for ICT training and digital skill development.
Also present to welcome the MUST Company team were Dr. Eyo Ekpe (Bursar), Engr. Bassey Ibok-Eyo (Director of Works), Chief Akpeh Edung Ogon (Director of Physical Planning), and Mr. Justine Bentem (Chief Security Officer).
